What problems would I face if i tried to restring a geetar for lefty playing? many thanks.

-> In particular, a V, SG, or Les Paul. Or copies of any of those three.

i had the same problem, they just told me to learn to play right-handed.
the thing is is that i broke my wrist twice and since my surgery i have a hard time moving both my ring and middle finger on my left hand. so i had to stay a lefty

finally a friend of mine (who's a lefty too) re-stringed my guitar.

hope this tiny bit helps you:

Conversion of a right hand guitar to a leftie
The nut will have to be shimmed and re slotted, if not completely replaced. If individual intonation modifications have been made to each string at the bridge, these will have to be redone. If the guitar has a fixed bridge, for example on an acoustic guitar, the old bridge will have to be relocated. The old slot will have to be filled in, and a new one will have to be cut that slants in an opposite direction so that the bass strings are still longer than the treble strings. There is also usually more neck bow or relief for the bass strings than for the treble strings. For this to be recalibrated for the conversion it is necessary to perform a grind ad polish or a complete refretting. Nicely enough however, this last step can often be overlooked provided that you do not play with a low action
I drink more than a little and less than enough

Your talking about the conversion reminded me of dreams I had last night.

My guitars were decapitated  :'(
What are your current thoughts about Kurt Cobain?

Axl: I said I'm going on ChiDem now and he said whatever & walked away other than that I've been busy.
