Nemo, how are those sustainer pickups?
I'm thinking of getting some fernandes pups fitted to one of my guitars.

Sextastic if you use it properly, it seems like a lot of people just want it to sustain the last note of a solo forever but it's cool as fuck for hitting an open bass string to give yourself a sustained pedal tone then play another lead part over the top of it and shit like that.  The artificial feedback from the harmonic setting is totally killer as well because you have complete control to bend, volume swell, slide, etc, etc while still sustaining the note.

i took an old strat type guitar and striped it down, sanded the varnish and paint away, primered it, undercoated it and sprayed it.  Then i re-assembled the guitar and voila

only took about 1 1/2 weeks (1 hr per night)

I would...washburn makes quality guitars..n' they dont cost a lot

My Washburn N4 is the greatest guitar I've ever played.  I had a cheesy Washburn electric to start, then got a Dean Dimebag CFH guitar, for $800.  I also have Gibson SG, the faded one, $800.  My Washburn N4 cost $2,500.  My god it is awesome.  I can do ANYTHING with that tremolo system and it doesn't go out of tune.  I do snap a fair bit of strings though.  That's my fault though.  I took the padding out underneath the floating bridge, so I could pull back on the bar even further.  Who cares if the wood gets damaged?

Hell yeah man, this N4 really won me over.  Of course I am sure that Nuno Bettencourt designing it made a huge impact.  Washburn for the win.
