Browser question - surfing CD.COM - and Speed

Nope!

2. What browser are you using? IE or firefox or whatever and what version ?
IE...dunno what version, but it's probably the very latest as it has the excellent tab system integrated.

3. Are the images on the index broken for you? If so what browser are you using and what version?
Nope!

4. Would you mind getting rid of the images on the index if the forum would load faster?
Nah, they're integral to the forum and it would be near-sacrilege to rid us of them.

Nope

Yeah, they look nice. I think that, maybe, web browsers cache better if you place the pics as background using css (or html with style=""). This is appliable to the index pics atleast. Then you can place a 1x1 transparent gif image over it with the desired width and height and use that as a link (if you don't want to get messy with javascript and that shit).
