Indeed, then you win and your friend comes around with a helicopter, so you jump in and head off till you see another player in a "Mr Wongs" Van, so what do you do? you jump out of the flying helicopter onto the van all in realtime, fight your way to the cabin, dropkick through the window and push him out...

Rockstar: GTA IV for PC "Very Doubtful"

Quote
Okay, who here isn't crazy for GTA IV? Seriously. 360 fans running a muck about it and their DLC with PS3 fans going crazy over finally playing one of the most anticipated titles to date. Even the PC crowd is joining in on the action and asking about when it's likely GTA will come for the PC (e.g. 12 months+).

We hate to ruin the party for all the PC hopefuls out there, but Rockstar has something to say and you might want to sit down for this:

Quote
"As for GTA IV coming out on the PC, that's very doubtful as we currently have no plans to develop for the PC. We could only focus our efforts extensively on so many consoles at once, and PC might not see the light of day."

And the music stops. The DJ's headphones pop out at the PC party crowd as the record warps a bit back. It's dead silent. Nobody move.

Sucks for peeps waiting for a PC version. ya should've bought a console. hate to say i told ya so

IGN.com give GTA IV the perfect 10/10, a score not given to any game in nearly 10 years. Quite simply, they call it "one of the best games" they have ever seen.

    * GTA taken to the next level - in a sense of technological progression and also sophistication.
    * Liberty City is a gem to behold. New York expressed in a true Grand Theft Auto style.
    * A level of integration between the soundtrack and the dynamics makes this a true "living, breathing city."
    * The game deserves the highest score IGN can award, because it doesn't fail to push video gaming to another level.
    * Storyline involves morality choices faced by players, giving way to alternative plot endings.
    * One of the best integrations of multiplayer in a game, that the reviewer has ever seen.

It also CONFIRMED Katt Williams as one of the comedians along with Ricky Gervais.
there are over 200 songs in the game
they say the story is of Oscar level and sometime during the story, you'll be forced to make decisions that after you have made them often leave you with a sickening feeling in the pit of your stomach.
they said theres a "Heat" style bank shootout within the game which is a mission you'll play time and time again and still feel wowed at the end of it.

it also confirms that because the PS3 installs onto the hard-drive, the load time is faster, theres less pop-in and better anti-aliasing (less jagged, more smoother) on the PS3 although the 360 has richer colors, so its all down to what you want out of this game.

check out all SEVEN pages of it here:

i think the only thing that dissapointed me about san andreas was the whole gangsta thing. the map was immense, the size of it was staggering and to this day i just kick on some tunes in media player and drive around. hell 2 days ago i found a place i still had never been in 4 years. i loved the game being a 90's kid and the fact of that i loved that whole 90's california. the good thing is, when i got the PC game i turned CJ into Tony Montana and skipped the whole story (thank you mods) and it was much more enjoyable, cept when he talked :lol: (imagine Al Pacino with CJ's Voice)
