Chinese Democracy WILL be released this year

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has finished work on the long-awaited album Chinese Democracy.

The band's label Geffen has confirmed they are in possession of the album - which cost a reported ú6.5 million to make - and are currently fleshing out an agreement with Rose over its release.

Looks like he wanted that free can of Dr Pepper!

I hear that record negotiations are moving along nicely. The new management team of Azoff and Gould have the
stroke needed to make Universal stop messing around wrt the release of CD.

Well i suppose its something at least, i wouldnt put money on it but least theres some big developments. so far more small good things are coming out than last year and all years before.

It's not up to Axl any more. It's the record company's decision now. Any news will probably come from them.

the label messing around with the album must mean they are hassling the band because of marketing, touring etc.

If they are messing around saying that the songs aren't right, then thats the worst news we could get, lol.

A lot of news has been buzzing at the moment, i hope it happens this year.

When and if the album is released I hope someone tells all the details why the fook has it taken so long to release. Really. I'd like to see VH1 try to make a 'making of CD' and try to sum it up in to only an hour of material..

it won't be released till fall thats 100%

because

- look at all other releases this year.
- every tracklist and coverarts for albums from now till august have been uveiled, so we won't have to expect it till mid fall.
