When I was attending the premiere of "Shine A Light" -- a movie about the Rolling Stones, directed by Martin Scorsese -- I had the feeling that "that's a band". The current Line-Up of GNR isn't. Okay, the new versions
of the old songs sound way better (guitar-wise) than the original ones did.

 I have the same feeling from seeing all the other guys doing shit  and not talking about GNR at all.. I mean wouldn't they at least be able to show some kind of Excitement about things or something ? I mean they all seem like emotionless pricks when it comes to GNR, like they can't even mention or crack a smile when the name is brought up

 why can't GNR be like other bands.. Judas Priest, def leppard, The crue are all at least letting their fans hear little snippits of the songs. why can't Axl or universal give us a taste of anything.. yeah perfection is one thing and I understand that shit but goddamn we have been waiting so long can't we at least hear something offical..

All these little excuses for lack of anything for substance are getting old, boring, and less and less of us every day beleive them.  "there not gnr" ?  What does that even mean? The GNR I grew up with, released music every few years. Sure, we didnt see them interviewing all the time, but Slash, and Duff, and whoever was at least able to talk about the band. It now makes it cool that the employees of Axl cant even mention the word gnr? Whatever! And, to answer your second question, NO! other bands dont take 15 years and all that money to write a few songs and release an album. Whats next, 10 more years "negotiating".
