I was wondering why they made the connection with CD. Then I found this at NIN website when I got there to download the song:

"We have some tour info coming... SOON (I know you love that word) as well as some other info about something else, too."

Although I really doubt NIN would provide any info about GNR or CD, I guess that was the sentence leading to confusion
