When Gn'R were big.. and Axl was on the cover of all those magazines.. and doing things like Promos to give out his apartment on MTV.. was he whoring himself out or was he just being Axl in a position where the fans and media have placed him?

I'm tired of hearing that Slash sells out. The dude is famous as fuck and everyone wants to work with him in one way or another. I think he's earned that type of ->pull<-. Now if he cut his hair, put on a suit and started talking about rock needing the make a change for the cleaner then I'd join you in your sell out chants.. but as for right now you people who say he's sold out are full of shit. He's still living the true rockstar life.

Don't get me wrong. Axl's is still in my eyes the greatest rock n roll front man ever. Its just that people love to bash the shit out of Slash while seemingly turning a blind eye to their beloved Axl. Its almost like Axl can walk into their house and shoot their mother and they would only be interested in having a sit down with the dude and talk about when Chinese Democracy is coming out.

As a singer and frontman Axl is untouchable. But as a person the dude seriously has some issues.. which is what makes him Axl.

Yeah, I know. But it's like, you're doing the same thing. I know people like to say this and that about Slash, but when you're trying to defend him, you're like 'attacking' Axl, and thats the same thing they're doing, but they're defending Axl instead
