Everyone loves Slash.. Not everyone loves Axl
No one ever calls Slash an asshole...
Of course we know that GnR could not have
possibly existed without Axl n Slash.. together
yeah maybe they would have been recognized..
but together it became monsterous.
and it all started with Scom.. Slash just goofin
off playing a circusy tune.. thats the song
that made them huge.. But yeah Slash is
iconic and just wants to jam... Axl wants to
keep growing and creating, he has his visions
and Slash didn't have the same thing in mind.

It WAS who he was. He's just happy to not bother about trying to establish his identity independent of his GNR past. Like the timid creature of the lagoon who never ventures out into the deep seas beyond he feels safe hiding in the cocoon of his old image, even if he makes himself a parody of his old self. It's his right I suppose but fuck it gets old.

I swear to god i've seen him on the front cover of three different musical magazines this month in the shop yesterday what a joke.

i was in a shop yesterday he was on/in loads and it was all the same old crap that everyone has heard a milllion times, scott, axl, plans etc its gettin old now. even if i do like him and am a fan hes fuckin everywhere

You guys forget or never actualy saw how in the old Days Axl and the band were everywhere, even cooking  books lol, it was just the kind of buzz these guys carried.
But hey Slash hater keep on hating at least it gives yu something to talk about.

dont get me wrong i like seein slash in stuff and am not a hater, but its gettin a bit repetative and its not as if were hearing anythin new its just sam old same old.

Even though i aint keen on a reunion it's painfully obvious imo Slash and Axl compliment each other like Slash would be talking to magazines and updating everyone about the album or tour or whatever and have new stories to tell and everyone would be happy cause at least we'd have communication with the band and Axl would keep Slash in check so he doesn't go too overboard like he does now and Slash would keep Axl in check by making them do interviews at least and commiting to release dates.

No point crying over spilt milk but really it's so tragic sometimes looking back over the history of this band and the potential and what more they could of been and the reality of what they're reduced to today.

yea i didnt mean you.
But for example i know HBK hates slash and smack talks about him most the time (in the spanish section) then he is always posting things about slash here, in the main news section, why? to provoque the kind of reactions we have, those that dont like Slash are usualy the first one to be posting whenever the is news or mention of him.
Heck if i Dont like someone or dislike their attiutude etc, i dont spend my time talking about him or even looking for info about him.

It would have completely undermined the band to have Slash in the crowd, the audience would have chanted 'Slash' throughout the entire set, not even stopping to listen to how fucking amazing Buckethead is.
