Reasons why record co. won't release album...

Could it be that Sebastian Bach's poor sell of Angel Down and the fact that Axl was on it, was sort of a sacrificial lamb so to speak. The record co. expected to generate more sales thank to Axl and the fact that it did poorly had the record co. doubting Axl's commercial appeal.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about because:

• Sebastian is a single artist.
• The hype for "Chinese Democracy" has been building for nearly a decade.
• Axl did some ''Angel Down'' stuff for his friend Baz and also us fans
• The record company for Baz is smaller and different than Axl's/GNR's

...I could go on, but it'd only get more embarrassing for you.

I dont think so, you cant compare Axl with Sebastian Bach. Axl is a rock nroll legend. And I thing Axls commercial appeal is still pretty big considering the Dr. Pepper story... Angel Down was shit, thats why it didnt sell. Not even Axl could save it.

Sorry, but "Angel Down" was a great rock, speed-metal album. It wasn't perfect, there were some boring/average songs, but to a large extent it was awesome. The reason it didn't sell is because Sebastian isn't the biggest name and because there wasn't a large promotional budget. Have you seen the movie Spider-Man 3? The movie is the most convoluted, cheesy, sappy piece of shit I've ever seen yet millions of people went to see it. Why? Because there were commercials about it on TV every 2 goddamn seconds. I could name like 10 better movies that very few people have seen. Why? Because they didn't get their proper due.

The music industry has changed. You can't succeed by talent anymore. People are too fickle and refuse to buy albums. People download before they buy. Back in the day people would be like "hey man...this album looks good". Everything back then was a leap of faith.

And the lack of the internet forced people to know a lot about the stuff they liked. Nowadays assholes run their mouths thinking that their opinion is fact and refuse to back it up with any substance.

I like Angel Down too. It's one of the best albums I've bought in a long time. It's heavy and it has more than one good song on it. At first I didn't like it that much. But now when I put it on I like it more and more. To get back on topic I don't know why we have had to wait so long for the album. I hope that one day Axl tells us. But I don't think he ever will.

Well the general public liked Skid Row and the general public liked Judas Priest back when, so given a proper look, I think a lot of people would like the album. But yes, you're entitled to your opinion.

If you read the letter from Axl/MGMT about him being on Angel Down, he clearly alludes to "Chinese Democracy" possibly coming out the same time as "Angel Down". So once again the misguided thought that the two had a direct correlation is proven false.

Angel Down kicks ass. It's like this new metal shit with good lyrics a good singer and actually sounds good.
