Why are many ppl so "angry" and negative towards GNR/Axl today?

Hi guys,

A thought came through my mind the other day (only one you think? )
I hear a lot of ppl seeming really dissapointed at Axl and the GNR as of today, of course it has alot to do with the postponing of the release of Chinese Democracy, but are there any other reasons?

Some seems to think of Axl as a chickenshit or something just cus he dosn't give much interviews or doesn't speak to the fans or anything..
But isn't that his choice? If he want's to sit in his house all day sniffing his fartstripes in his underwear, then let the man do that.
Maybe he's just tired of all the circus around his person?
Maybe he just want's to spend the rest of his days relaxing and enjoying life probably for the first time as a normal human being.

I for one couldn't be more happy when Chinese Democracy finally hits the scene. But if it never does, then it wouldn't matter (or maybe just a little, but my life wouldn't fall apart).

When I started listening to GNR back in the days of -94 -95 the songs played right into my heart and there has never been a time since then when I haven't been listening to GNR atleast in periods.
They and Axl have already given me so much that I couldn't ever find someway to thank them even if I ever got the chance.

Someone in some thread here said something like "stop harassing the man and act like he ows you something" because he doesn't. Not at all.
We are the ones that owes him, and that's a debt that we can never ever pay.

If he decides that CD should never be released, then it's just as good. Because he is the one who decides, not us.
But ofcourse I hope, just as everyone else. So Axl, please, release the damn album so we all can enjoy your masterpieces again

When the album comes, I can never imagine that they'll be as big as before again, but that doesn't matter.
They're always giants in my heart.

because when you compare GN'R to any other band, they suck.  they never talk to the fans (Trent Reznor and MetallicA should be examples for any band with their fanbase, minus the whole Napster thing).  when Guns do communicate, it's usually though some tool like Del James or Bach. 

if Axl was tired of the 'circus', he'd do interviews to clear it up, or at least attempt to.  and we owe him?  please, we were the ones who made him the multimillionare he is.  we're the ones who wasted years waiting for an album that will probably never come out.  we buy his Appetite for Destruction in 2001, 2002, 2006 and 2007 tickets.  we buy his albums, scented candles, beach towels and other things. 

if the album comes out, by some odd twist of fate, i will be first in line to buy it.  but until then, i'm not holding my breath.
