New Leaks All Planned- Decide for Yourself

Ok...so same time last year we get a bunch of leaks.  Now all of a sudden these three new demos leak out. 

First of all, pretty sure Axl leaked these to start the momentum which unceremoniously died around August last year.  Second, betting we get an album release date announcement in the next 60 days (or they pull the plug again until next year). 

Second, I seriously will bet whatever money anyone wants to throw out here that at best one of these three new tracks makes it onto disc one of Chinese Democracy (and none of these three in their current state).  The songs are good no doubt, but they aren't great.  Scratch that, they aren't OCD Axl great and "finished enough" to make a final cut for an album 14 years in the making (unless this album is indeed three discs deep on release day; then they make it).

Third, cmon!  Why one earth do these nine tracks leak?  What the guy at antimusic got startled while in Axl's safe up in Malibu before grabbing the other seven or so tracks that would complete the album???  And he only grabbed the six we had heard before and three "new songs".  Seriously, seriously laughable.  Or better yet, he's sitting on the other seven or so tracks???

Bottom line...Axl's way to smart at manipulating the Internet at this point for this s**t to happen.  In fact, at this point I hope that him and LIL Wayne get together on a collaboration since they both have mastered leaking songs as creative marketing.  In fact, at this rate I halfway expect to find a Guns N Roses mixtape on EBay by early next week.  Love it! Love it! Love it! 

It's all good Axl - We still love you even more than ever - just don't go back to the well once too often and find there's no water.  You gotta drop the album this time around or anymore year-long delays after you leak a few tracks is gonna kill your last strands of credibility and momentum.

All the leaks are pre-2004, most of them from 2002 with vocal tracks that date back as early as 1999.

And they're all unfinished demos.

Yes, but without dates. Leaks that are "5 years old" is more telling than "leaks that are old".

Yes they would, build up hype.  THEY don't want you to think they released them.  If they did leak the songs, they got exactly what they wanted...GNR forums blowing up, music forums in general, and hell, Rolling Stone magazine, other music mag's, the leaks were even discussed on Yahoo's home page.

It's clever marketing.

From a logical standpoint; if these leaks weren't by Uncle Axl it's all a big publicity stunt for the website that leaked them. It garnered a ton of hits and exposure which means profit for the owner of the website. He/She is likely sitting on the final tracks. If they leak it won't all be at once. It's like free advertising.

Of course its from the band. They probably wanna see some reaction by the fans... They're preparing the fans for later this year if it really gets to come out
