Are you crazy? Axl is probably the bane of the record company's existence at this point.
His attitude, which is either extreme perfectionism or complete laziness, is completely antithetical to the usual manufactured, corporate way of doing things were they put out an album consisting of some filler, a few by-the-numbers radio singles and maybe some covers, year after year.
You can accuse Axl of a lot of things but corporate sell out is definitely not one of them. If he was putting the record out for money, he would have done it a long, long time ago.
