BRUSSELS, Belgium - Belgian brewer InBev has announced it will buy Anheuser-Busch for $52 billion.

The acquisition means control over America's largest brewer — and the No. 2 worldwide — moves overseas.

Anheuser-Busch, based in St. Louis, is the largest brewer in the United States with more than 48 percent of the American market share.

InBev confirmed the details of the purchase of Anheuser-Busch Monday. It first bid for Anheuser-Busch on June 11.

InBev is the world's second-largest beer maker, with brands that include Stella Artois and Becks.

The deal must be approved by shareholders and European and US antitrust regulators. The merger will produce the world's largest brewer and the fourth-largest consumer product company worldwide.

Stop outsourcing alll of the fucking US companies!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Everything about our companies is supposed to be about quality, but then people move the companies overseas and then the quality suffers, not to mention how clean and safe the product is.  Thats what people take pride in, workmanship.  Actors take pride in their movies, muscisians take pride in their music, craftsmen take pride in their handywork.  Now it seems as thought America has forgotten about taking pride in their work and instead of quality people settle for less just to get the quick dollar. It makes me mad.  Why is our country so focused on money.  People in my country, America, become so obssesed with money that the stop at nothing to make the quick and easy dollar (ie sueing fastfood cuz it makes you fat, you are the one that ate it dumbass).  Because greed has taken over our contry and all anyone can focus on is money, that is why the divorce rate is so high and why familys are estranged.  I have been the victim of an estranged relationship just so that some fucker in my family coud make the quick dollar.
