It would be hilarious if the whole gang was back together, but cool! But it's too soon for a reunion! Then again, all the guitarists are bailing out and we haven't heard a thing from either GNR or VR. And Sorum had that conversation about Slash could be talking to Axl and Sorum wouldn't know a thing about it.

As much as I'd like to see Izzy (or any other GNR member) back with Axl, I would find it weird to find them come back to Axl at such a time as this.

They would have to learn all the new songs to play on tour, and it wouldn't be their material... and yeah... but hey if that happens, cool~! I won't argue 

It would be interesting to see Axl singing Fall to Pieces (they be like we play ur songs, u play some of our songs, then the classics, etc.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.  Izzy plays rhythm and like 2 leads and Robin plays all leads.  can you see Izzy ripping through The Blues or playing Sweet Child's intro?  NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

Yes, I do.  First of all, he's been in GnR for over six years now.  Second, he has always kept busy doing things outside of GnR, like scoring movies, commercials, playing sessions, etc.  And now a single has been confirmed and everything points to the album finally coming out

Unlike Robin, Richard has had a lucrative career outside of GnR and GnR remains the biggest opportunity for him to showcase his talents

With Robin, it's easy to see why he's on tour with NIN.  He doesn't have the stream of income outside GnR that Richard does, and there's little doubt he'll be making 7 figures for this tour with NIN, like the rest of us he has bills to pay.  Richard's circumstances are completely different.  He's making money in other avenues and this band he's reuniting with for one show isn't a big name band by any means

I agree, Richard isn't the average rock guitarist, where as he doesn't need to be in a band to be happy.  He's in this one and continues to work outside of it.  I don't see him leaving.  Looks like he goes after what is fun and what has a good paycheck.  I bet GNR has a good paycheck.  I mean, this dude played for boy bands.  He goes after the job and whatever good paying ones he can get.  Power to him!

Is Robin actually "Out" or is it just the NIN tour thing?  Just because he is doing that doesn't mean he is "out".  I mean, it isn't like GNR is touring at this moment.

Yea i understand where ur coming from but if hes so lucrative and talented wouldnt you think some other big name band out there wouldnt want him! If the CD album doesnt come out for a while i really dont see Richard hanging around not doin anything but thats just me!

How many bands, that would pay him as much as Axl does, need a guitarist?

Think about it this way, Tommy  reunited with The Replacements but he isn't out of the band.
