Now he sounds like a 46 year old..... not saying he's bad, i actually quite like his vocals now, but... he's never gonna sound as good as he did in 1987... thats fact.

I agree he sounds amazing though and hes much better now than he was in 2001...... and judging by the leaks, he'll sound amazing on the record...

nothing has impressed me more from axls voice

then the ending of twat at hammerstein in 06

his voice their is just out of this world,

and some points of Sailing is just incredible,
and wouldnt of been able to sing like that 20 year ago..

Axl is Axl.  Don't see too much of a difference really, except he has more range now in my opinion.  People complain about the lack of rasp.  I see the rasp more as a result of drinking/smoking/battling terrible sound systems.  These days I get the impression that he can channel the rasp when he wants to, and have a clean high pitch when he wants to as well.

i actually prefer todays axl as opposed to the axl of old days.two resaons, i think his voice has more grit in it these days, number two...if chinese democracy is gonna be released then it will be todays axl singing on it.

his vocal style is way differnet now, longer notes and higher pitched. its not bad, in some ways hes better but he hasnt got the same edge he once had, but really we wont know how he sounds till we get cd

one thing thats remained intacted is his writting style, you cant mistake that!
