You don't want a Gibson, but you would love a Les Paul? Wtf? Unless you're talking about some offbrand Les Paul made out of basswood or have freaky headstock, GIBSON MAKEs LES PAULS. EDIT: btw, glad to help you find the danelectro. But I hear they're made of pine plywood (they always have been and the current reproductions are). Hence the cheap price.
