Anybody read this? (Old site)

This site has some great info on new songs and interviews.  I never read it before.  It is pretty interesting but I would imagine very old news for some.

Great read. Thanks. (Oklahoma , about the Oklahoma city bombings... That is amazing)

Also its funny how interviews that portray Axl as anything but a villain are never seen.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Also interesting.

http://www.monstersandcritics.com/people/archive/peoplearchive.php/Axl_Rose/biog

(Axl dated Tommy Hilfiger's brother's ex wife)

And Steven cracked a guy for attacking Axl and said "You never try and hit one of the family" while doint it... Thats why Adler rules!

I believe Axl's press release saying Slash came to his house and I believe everything Axl said Slash said ( Why would he lie? He dont give two shits what we think about anything but his music, only thing we should care about ironicly ) that is crazy tho that Slash would sell all of them out like that.

Not a problem, wouldnt of found it had not been for your original post so........ Anyway after readint the second URL I posted I think Brian May could be (was) on several songs. I also think its funny we havnt got another demo of Catcher but we have got several of all the other songs, regardless of what has been said I think this song has been taken to the next level and will very well be on the album(s)

The first track, 'Atlas Shrugged' is described as being somewhere between 70's glam rock and 'November Rain'. Another new track, 'Quick Song', is a rock song with a riff similar to 'Smells Like Teen Spirit. The last track, 'Zodiac', is described as an electronic, industrial song.

It is likely that these tracks are older GN'R tracks, so it is unclear whether these tracks will have been A-listed for the forthcoming Guns n'roses, 'Chinese Democracy'.

holy fuck I'm excited and wanting to hear 'Quick Song'

I believe Brian May has said he has worked on other songs besides Catcher.  I also heard Song #2 is Quick Song, but I could be mistaken as it is only a rumor.  I sure hope some of the demos or unheard songs from 1999 make it out even if they don't show up on any CD.  Wouldn't it be cool to have demos of the final versions?  After 13+ years,  they have to have so many...I mean if we got 4 leaks of TWAT how many versions actually exist of these songs?

I was just thinking while reading some of this that there must be loads of songs ranging from very rough mixes to masters. Its great because I now believe that the 3 disc plan didn't come about until 2001 or 2, more like they wanted to make a bunch of songs and try everything and pick whats best, but after delays and band changes they began to really piling archives of music and then decided to spend some more time and make it even bigger.

I hope that we eventually hear all of the material, would they put out or leak songs that never make it?

Yes I think they will release all of it as B-sides, Axl said something along the lines of "Well its 3 albums, were going to release the first one , tour for 2 years , release another one tour some more and then release the third so its a big project, and then we will have like some bonus discs."

I really love seeing these articles where insiders say how Chinese Democracy was designed being a epic huge long album, like so many people want AFD volume 2 Im like dude did you really think Axl has been working on another AFD for 14 years ? no its not that hard to understand what hes been building AFD is something that comes natural its somethings thats not to be taken to seriously its a spur of the moment rocker, and their cant be a better rocker than AFD its something you do once where its the right time. I thought from day one the CD was going to be very long at least 3 cds long I knew it was going to be over the top epic and have very long songs and to now know all this over these past years im lovin it. On that site did anyone see where someone said there are 4 rockers on CD the rest are all epics? So my question is, does anyone else out there like the idea that CD is going to be different and have epic long songs and there is going to be hardly any rockers? Im getting so tired of people thinking it should sound like AFD or were under the impression it was going to be another AFD.
