That was supposed to be the cover of Appetite in the first place    :(
(Well actually the Use Your Illusion cover was almost the first albums cover and it was almost called Use Your Illusion lol)

No, you're mistaken. I've never heard or read that.

On topic:

Digital releases can create extra revenue and extra buzz - and they connect with a demographic that Rockband would connect with, so I hope they use one.

and besides if they did a reunion all we would get it the same tired ass songs that we have been hearing for 20 years.. I still love them but I am getting to the point of turning them off when I hear them on the radio because i know the new shit is right around the corner ... at this point I have no intrest what so ever in a reunion

I agree.

Ok. But would you of liked Slash to be on this album? I always said hell ya Slash come back in 98 or 99 they go to work on the album maybe even get izzy back in the studio to jam a few times and get this album on its way.... But now (as you can see from my previous post) I am glad Slash had nothing to do with this album, He and all the rest of them piss me off for sitting back all this time and letting Axl get all the garbage while trying to keep GnR alive, they wouldnt help him one bit and its bullshit for Axl to have gone down the way he went down the past 15 years and I cant wait for everyone to eat there fucking words. Its like have you heard Axl say 1 bad thing about any of them? I cant recall a time and if you can your blowing some bullshit up, there are several bad reports on Axl from the band if not in an interview by them then by someone else they didnt care to comment on even tho they knew it was bullshit. Keep that in mind and ask yourself who is in more control of thereselves? Why should Axl call this Guns N Roses???????Because he fucking deserves to call it Guns And Fucking Roses.. Slash was positive it was coming out a couple of years ago and ever since then have you noticed something? A little bit has changed hasnt it.. He even went to Axls house and sold out Duff and Matt ( I believe Axl why would he lie? ) Slash doesnt deserve to even get to play Shacklers Revenge on XBox
It was a tuesday in October and the pressure seemed to mount like the smileing faces of all those involved.

Without the persistance of insanity we have nothing.

oh and to add to what I was just saying another point is..

the problem with paying for downloading an album or tracks off a website is..

if you wanna play it on your Ipod or MP3 player why not just buy the real album..rip or burn the songs you want in seconds to your desktop and badda bing..you got your freaking MP3's but guess what..you also still have your REAL LIFE IN PERSON ALBUM AND THE DISC INSIDE IT..

The reason why people don't is because people were tricked into buying something new.  People were already getting the music for free and those who were getting it for free weren't going to buy it anyways.  Guess what?  Those who weren't going to buy it anyways aren't going to pay to download it either.  They are going to get it for free.

So, they charge like a buck a song for something that isn't even physical which costs them nothing to create and make money off of those that think buying it is cool.

Not sure if you read it a few months back, but the industry was trying to say that ripping your own CD's to put on an MP3 player was theft and were trying to back that up by saying you were changing the form of the product.  Basically, people started to realize the exact same thing you posted about buying the CD and ripping it yourself and the industry was trying to make it so all mp3's had to be purchased and you weren't allowed to make any yourself.  Instead of pressuring artists to put out records that peeps actually want to buy that want to stop people from not buying shitty albums.  LOL

yeah, the regulations and "new " ideas about what is legal and whats not is ridiculous....these days any cd-protection gets cracked in a nanosecond, and many realize that the future lies within the concerts, after all, a concert costs twice, or even five times, what an album costs.....i think thats perfectly ok, all the rules about downloading and stuff...its possible, lots will do it....if you care enough about a collection, you will buy the album.

im pretty ok with digital downloads, and if there is a market, they will put it on physical cds...any way, someway you will get access....these days you can make more money with  a pepsi or dr. pepepr deal than with an actual record....its just the music industry thats whining.....they should go with the times, and come up with ways to get back some of what was lost thru the digital revolution....be creative for once...
