i while back (2007) someone posted a link to a instrumental of checkmate that they had made i am currentl in the middle of making my own checkmate remix (thats benn going for like a month) i need this instrumental to put with the fan made solo if anyone has this it would be much appreciated.
also does anyone have a clean version of silkworms i have searched this section all the way up to page 50 (longest hour of my life) but there are only remixes and expired links

yeah cos i didn't think of that :rolleyes: there were only a few clean silkworms that i could find and that was no good for my edit
and when say instrumeantal checkmate i mean the actual checkmate with lyrics removed as i say i know there is one because there was a similar request made last year but the link has expired :rolleyes:

no i managed to get that piece awhile back (do we have information on where that came from) it was the actual backing track to it. i know it exsists but i just cant find it. i need either that or the other mix of it. the other mix was sung in a lower register and sounded slightly different if i find that i know i can rip the vocals from it but i can't do it with a youtube rip because they are in mono sound.
as for sikwoms the only realy good version i could find on youtube had a load of effects added to it which is why i want to know if there is another good one without added effects or extra drumbeats

That's why I was writing about youtube and converting. There is no real leak of Silkworms, it's just the live version of Rio 2001 (and its remixes), or HoB 2001 - if you are able to get it.

yeah i know that iwas just having trouble findiong a remix without to many effects or crowdnoises i guess this will do for now, thanks :D
but like i said for the checmate im after a youtube rip wont work for my mix as it is in mono sound andcannot be reworked. i was gonna post ayoutube link to the version im looking for but its been removed it was on a one minute ten mix with the piano and fan made solo it sounded like it had alot more reverb and it cut out at "to save what" rather than ending complete "to save what we had" or "all in good faith" (im also looking for the version that end with all in good faith aswell ;) )
