Typical (stuck in the past) fuckheads..... they just go with whats popular and bashing CD is.... I will bet my ballsack that as soon as it becomes the slightest bit mainstream and people start to agree its good muisc, every one of them will be acting like they never said a bad word about Axl , like they supported him this whole time (like us )... I wouldnt be alarmed those type of people are very predictable
It was a tuesday in October and the pressure seemed to mount like the smileing faces of all those involved.

Without the persistance of insanity we have nothing.

The internet is a cesspool of negativity.  It gives people the chance to say things anonymously that they would never say in person and they're a bunch of parrots anyway

"blah blah 14 years blah blah 13 million blah blah Slash blah blah Axl's hair blah blah it's not the real Guns blah blah"

The saddest thing is that these people care more about all these extraneous factors that don't really matter more than the actual music.  Axl could put out Dark Side Of The Moon and they'd call it dog shit.  So you know what?  Fuck 'em.

Oh yeah, the greatest irony is all these cockroaches will come out of the woodwork on these websites like Rolling Stone or Blabberfuck saying how Axl is irrelevant and no one cares, yet any GnR related topic will have 5 times more responses than any other band.  Isn't that interesting?

You have to understand that most of the people that go on UG are probably 13 - 21 year olds who think that they are Internet tough guys. Just ignore them, they aren't worth it. Most of them don't understand anything about the album anyway so most are talking shit based on what they've heard.

The funny thing is... these people look at us, guns n roses fans, as people who are stuck in the past.  However, go one rolling stone, go on ultimate guitar, all anyone ever says to someone who supports a band like gnr is that they are stuck in the past and "to just move on with our lives and are just bitter than nirvana destroyed this kind of music".  However, these are the same people who are currently stuck in the past.  Most of these people are around 13-25ish and never really were around for nirvana.  Yes, nirvana and guns n roses(with exception of appetite) released all of their albums during my life time but I wasn't a fan until later in life. Nirvana, while once groundbreaking, is now just as old and no longer modern. People fail to see that whats happening here is guns n roses are creating something modern and groundbreaking just as a NIN, Muse, Porcupine Tree or a Radiohead album. They are not trying to bring back some kind of Neo-hair metal movement.

ultimate guitar is the biggest piece of shit forum in the world, its mainly 13-17 year old high schoolers who can't play guitar for shit and decide, hey lets pretend I can play and go bash people on the internet for no reason. 90% of them are unintelligent pricks and put down others. I registered and after being flamed within 10 mins I said fuck it. I mean people sit there say "SLASH IS SO OVERRATED" okay then i'd like to see you play better than him fag

This may come as a shock to a lot of you but GNR is most definitely NOT universally loved. In fact 99.99% of the time I read an article about GNR on any site it has a million negative comments attached to it. Part of it is cuz they are stuck in the past, part is that they have not given the new stuff a chance and part is that Axl has really fucked up big time. It's a great combination.
