There is barely a word of Nietzsche that I haven't devoured hungrily and adored.  Zarathustra's awesome although I prefer the Antichrist and The Gay Science.

Even if you have no interest whatsoever in philosophy or disagree completely with his ideas he's such a compelling writer that everyone should read him anyway

Hell yeahhhhhhhhhh one of my top favourite books along with beyond good and evil following shortly behind on my list

Cracks me up how on the verge of a breakdown the man pretty much dragged humanity kicking and screaming to face the reality of the fallacies we've entertained for far to long.

Old Zarathurstra thinking he's cracking up in his cave showing the collective stupidity of humanity time and time again and how relevant today when we're still making the same mistakes. love it.

I'm reading the The Gay Science right now.
Zarathustra was good, i saw a Polish 6 hours play of it in Paris last year, very good.

Dawn of the idols was also an joyfull moment. I think i'm gonna go over all Nietzsche book again, slowly, over the next few months ;)

I found that Nietzsche was more interesting when not talking about religions and gods, he seems repeat himself on these matters? no ?

But his global social/morals/human nature remarks are amazing.
"The complete emancipation of women from the ties which held them back in the past, during the ages of despotism and ignorance, is a basic aim of the Party and the Revolution." Saddam Hussein, 1981

wow !! I'm glad to hear ...

I've read most of his stuff and many times more than once...  reading is an understatement. It is a part of me and he taught me so much.  Beyond good and evil I like a lot.

Thus Spoke was a lot different than the other writtings...  it has that storyline thing going on.  tightrope thing etc.

The whole Greek comparison thing he does I thought was great..  and then I moved to Greece lol.  Apollo vs Dionysis and what emotions are... feelings and shit and pain. optimism vs pessimism

Been awhile for me to read his stuff, I should get back! helped me get some shit together some years ago.

What are your current thoughts about Kurt Cobain?

I started learning german (still doing that) just to read his books in it's natural language, although i know it's far from what he actually wrote...

and now i have a sudden sure to read The Antichrist

hahaha I did the same thing with german..
Nietzsche changed my life. I dropped Civil Engineer University courses and took my Bsc in International Relations and Moral Philosophy.
