haha....  a mindset of just playing and knowing the songs is nothing.    It takes years of intense practice to physically be able to play ..........  that tight with dudes of their caliber.  Its like trying to jump onto a moving train... you miss and you are fucked. 

I don't know man.. I think if you have the confidence and the chops you can do it.

If you have some low self esteem where you're going to look at Axl and shit your pants if you fuck up then thats all about your heart.

Slash was able to do it high, drunk.. whatever. He was having fun playing Rock n Roll. Thats what counts.

Yeah, I reckon I could play with Guns if they suddenly needed a replacement during a concert.  Probably wouldn't have the stage presence, but could play most of their officially released original stuff pretty well.  Would love to play lead or rhythm guitar on Nightrain, Brownstone, Rocket Queen, Sweet Child, It's So Easy, Double Talkin' Jive, Don't Cry, November Rain, Don't Damn Me, Dead Horse, Pretty Tied Up, So Fine and Estranged.  Might choke a bit on the outro solo of Paradise City though.

I can do the intro to jungle!!! so that counts! at least I can start the show and get people started.... hey that's what it is about.. getting the crowd going. so doing the jungle riff intro.. I would get a lot of people going and then I would just say... Hey I know that part and that;s all goodnight and see you later!


no really, I can play a lot of guns songs. Perhaps I stated some time ago or long ago that I could see myself playing... well not anymore.
Guns is a lot more then a band. it's a bussiness, and It's a lot of hard work and I like my beers so no thanks
