"RUBY" 40th Anniversary Nazareth Tribute CD
Portugese to English Translation of a recent blog posted at
http://arisemetalblogzine.blogspot.com/

Nazareth: "Ruby Tribute"
meet Metallica and Guns N'Roses

Published in www.whiplash.net -

The big news, however, is that the second released by the Manny Charlton, this tribute will also very special with the participation of METALLICA and GUNS N 'ROSES.

The METALLICA likely to participate with its striking version of "Please Do not Judas Me."

Already the music with which the GUNS participate is still a mystery.
Questioned whether the group of Axl contribute their version of "Hair Of The Dog."
But as Manny referred to the participation of them as a "surprise", probably the GUNS appear with a version of another song of NAZARETH.
It is the expectation!

THAT would be cool.  I read on wikipedia that Axl wanted the original singer of Nazareth to sing that sing at his wedding.  I actually saw Nazareth with Manny Charlton with my dad earlier this year.  It was fun.

hello

i'm missi johnson
i recorded STAR for the nazareth tribute CD

i just wanted to clarify that i can't take credit for writing the original blog that's listed
but i did translate that blog from portugese to english and posted it  for english speakin' folks such as myself

from what i can tell from the posts on manny charlton's website and myspace
"Ruby" the Nazareth tribute CD will be a 2 CD set
the artists that will be featured on disc one have already been announced on manny's site
and on his myspace
and the artists that will be featured on disc 2 are in the process of being compliled

it's my guess that the disc 2 artists will be announced soon
and i'm not sure that guns n roses will be on the naz tribute cd or not

so far as i can tell, that has not been confirmed
which means it's a possibility i suppose

i've also heard the cd will be complete  in september or october of 2008

for more accurate and up to date information
i recommend that you check manny charlton's website or myspace
as well as the  "naz tribute website"

thanks ya'll
huggz!

actually sugar,
this may be a 2 post wonder
as there is an update

as most of you know, the NAZARETH Tribute collection is being compiled by
Manny Charlton
the world famous guitarist and record producer for the original NAZARETH

the "naztribute" website is now up and running

the DISC 1 artists are displayed there now

most of them have sound samples either
on thier personal websites and/or myspace sites

however, the DISC 2 artists are still not being displayed
so it's still a mystery as to who will be featured on DISC 2

have a wonderful day ya'll

Hello.  I saw it with my dad in Kalamazoo Michigan, at the State Theater.  I liked it a lot but unfortunately I was feeling a little under the weather becuase I just got over from food poisoning at the time.

But it was still a very cool show.  Manny can really play the guitar.  At the show I was at they were pro shooting it for some DVD they made.

I have heard this for awhile.

Ta tell you the truth I think Axl is on it.
It was a tuesday in October and the pressure seemed to mount like the smileing faces of all those involved.
