Marketing: Looking for the Reason Shacklers isnt being promoted.

You would think that marketing would be a major issue if Chinese Democracy was about to be released. Now thinking about it, the Rumored November 25 date would be too early for promotion with the recent Rock Band 2 release. The general public that pics the game up in the store doesn't even know that their is a New GNR song in the game. The TV commercial actually promotes AC DC. Well that makes sense because AC DC just released their new album. The release dates for other game systems are mid - late October and mid - late November.  That time period would be perfect for advertising the Release of Chinese Democracy along with Rock Band 2.

For a USA release Walmart makes the most sense and cents. I went to Wally World this morning to get some fish medicine and the first thing I seen when entering was a rack of CDs  Metallica and AC DC. I would have bought one except I wouldn't have enough money for my fish medicine. Then I go to the checkout and there is another rack with AC DC and Metallica... taunting me to buy the albums, which I wanted to do. Walmart is really in your face and knows how to get the average person to by something...

Wal-Mart only sells edited compact discs. Granted we havent really heard any explict stuff, yet, but there could be on the final album.  I dont want an edited version.
