I actually played rock band the other day, it was really fun cause there was 5 of us all having a go, and it's hilarious listening to someone sing Freak On A Leash by Korn.

I recently got the full band Guitar Hero and it's the best thing ever when mates are round and we play and have beers and stuff. And it'll be good with the family when they come round this Christmastime. But it is basically just an excellent karaoke machine. I play guitar as well as 4 other instruments and I guess you can say the dexterity is kind of the same but that's about it. People think they're awesome guitarists because they beat Slash or Zakk Wylde or Ted Nugent in a video game.

I'm good at Call of Duty, but I'm not booking my ticket to Baghdad anytime soon.

Well put. It's comparing apples and oranges. Both are fun but i definitly get more satisfaction out of playing real guitar.
