Yamaha Guitars and AMP
« on: September 24, 2008, 12:16:05 PM »
Hi, today I bought this AES620 and I feel it sounds really good comparing it's price. however It was in it's Off sale and I bouth it about 100 dollars lower than it's actual price. so it cost me about 450 dollars.

Now can anyone help me to choose & buy an AMP in the same brand?

the guitar I bought is 620 but looks exactly the same above.

Well, actually I'm from IRAN, and we're in an extreme financial and business boycott from USA and I can't reach any kind of american brands here in my country. so let's talk about Japanese and European brands.  :(

Marshall is a British company, as are Vox and Laney.

Get you a Roland cube. They're a Japanese company.

And also, my Marshall AVT50 (no longer made, sry) was made in England.
I believe Vox is Eurpean as well, as Purplehaze said up there.

But take note, I test-drived a VoxAC30 and check out where it was made... it says "Made in China, Under supervision of England Vox employees" or something like that.  A top quality amp though.

Dude Fuck Iran.  You are boycotting some of the best Guitar Companies.  Anyways since you can not have a say in your country (which I do feel sorry for you), your goverment is fucked up and its sad because good people like you get steped on and have to live how the gov tells you to live, no gov should tell its citizens exactly how to live.

Anyways I would try a Vox or Roland (I got a roland cube).  Again Im sorry but it is really lame that your country is boycotting US products.  Actually since everthing in the US is made in fucking China it doesnt make much of a differance anyways.  :(

Good advice in this thread. You would be happy with the Vox I think
What are your current thoughts about Kurt Cobain?

Axl: I said I'm going on ChiDem now and he said whatever & walked away other than that I've been busy.

as long as the peaker is powered by celestion u will be ok quality wise but the brand depends on the sound u want

roland cube is great, as are most marshall

I didn't want to talk off topic. but in this case I felt that I should clear somethings:

Dude Fuck Iran
First of all, Iran is my homeland. this is where I was born and raised and live with all it's both good and bad people who are persians and not arabs (no offense to arabs). for me IRAN always remains Aryans Land, no matter which goverment rules my country. so you are insulting me and my nationality by saying those words.

Anyways since you can not have a say in your country (which I do feel sorry for you)
feel sorry for yourself that you can not communicate well internationally with people from different countries.

good people like you get steped on and have to live how the gov tells you to live
not a simple person in this world can tell me how to live; even my goverment. and for this matter I've been in some serious problems with the goverment people.

Thanks god at least somebody is responsible for Racism smelling words. Racism was one of the problems made me leave cocksalad.com forum.

Sorry, this got really misinterpereted (gah I cant spell today).  I wasnt mad at the country or its citizens, rather, I was upset that the goverment tries to control people's lives, like he said has been in trouble with the gov for not living how the gov wants.  I was saying that his goverment was being stupid by boycotting such good US brands (fender, gibson etc).  Im sorry that you both took it as an insult, I respect people who live individually and dont conform to how their goverment tries to make them live.  Im sorry my post came off as insulting, if we were talking face to face you could have seen what I was trying to communicate, but text is always misinterpereted, so I appoligize if I came off as insulting towards you personally, my problem was not with you, rather it was with the goverment for it not listening to its citizens for guidence on how to run the country.  Once again Im sorry.

And please let us know what amp you buy!
