excorcist - i was forced to watch that movie in the second grade in a haunted farm house that was built in 1829. and if i hid under the covers my sister would beat the crap outta me  :(

check out Chuck Palahniuk's "Haunted" it's not so much about being scary but there is one chapter called 'guts' (i think) that is pretty graphic.

movie? i've never seen it but i hear wes craven's "last house on the left" is pretty wild.
