I'll watch it tonight but all the reports are saying Obama won.  And a huge percent of the people don't like McCains attacks. They say he is too busy attacking Obama instead of talking and debating.  And thats what happens when you got nothing good to say

A majority of debate watchers polled thought Obama was more intelligent, by a 57 percent to 25 percent margin over McCain. Debate watchers also thought Obama more clearly expressed his views by a 2-to-1 ratio, 60 percent to 30 percent.

I saw bits of it. I was pretty sure Obama came out on top, but my Republican friend said it was a tie. Neither side is doing enough to win over swing voters so really I'm not sure if these debates will mean much in the grand scheme of things (they didn't last time round). But at the end of the day, it's clear McCain just isn't up to the same standards as Obama when it comes to debating

Dude.. you're seriously taking the medias word for it before watching it? Everyone knows Obama is Mr. Popular when it comes to the media. Its bias as fuck. Sure, Fox is bias towards Republicans but thats 1 channel compared to EVERY other news outlet.

I watched the second debate in full and it was great to see Obama stu..stu.. stuttering and going back to his two strongest drivel speeches about McCain wanting to give the rich tax breaks (lies), and saying "Bush" or "last 8 years".

It was also cool to see Obama again agree with McCain quite a few times after McCain proposed his ideas.

McCain DID attack Obama and called him out on a lot of his bullshit but always followed it up with what he was planning on doing which is what I think a person should do.

I like that McCain didn't let Obama's bullshit fly and called him out on his record as a taxing / spend faaaaaar left like lib.

I liked how every time Obama was nailed he would just laugh and totally disregard the question. I like that McCain called him out on that too by saying "I'll answer the question".

I HATED that Obama said that health care is a "Right" here in the US. Thats another topic but seriously fuck that and fuck that way of thinking. Those loans poor people got thanks to thinkers like Obama which have left our banks fucked was brought up too but what did Obama have to say about it? Umm.. "Lets tax the rich".. oh and of course "Bush / last 8 years".

I like how much of a rookie Obama was made to look like when it came to foreign policies as well. When McCain was talking Obama might as well have been part of the crowd. He looked like a student that should have been taking notes.

Thats what I saw. Not what I read somewhere.

BP.. You're the guy in charge here but don't you think creating a topic called "Obama 2-0" is a little bias on your part? How about Obama / McCain 2 and let people discuss what they saw and maybe who they feel won?

After watching this second debate I saw a few things in Obama I could stand though I still think its all a big smoke screen.

If the Libertarian candidate was allowed onstage to debate he'd kick both McCain and Obama in the nads.  The Libertarian's have a great platform IMO.

I didn't read your whole response yet as I didn't watch the debate yet. but if you read my post you will find that it is not the medias opinion, it was a report FROM THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES HELLO? I posted this post based on what PEOPLE are saying... not media.

Yeah, it's a wrap at this point as far as I'm concerned.  Unless someone crazy bombs America in the next few weeks McCain is dead in the water.

I called the first debate a draw when the polls gave it to Obama, I even called the VP debate a draw simply because Palin did better than I expected but I really think McCain got owned in this one.  And those polls ain't looking too pretty.  Especially when you look at the figures for the red states Obama's hoping to steal, he's making ground everywhere and McCain just doesn't look like taking many of the narrowly blue states from him at all
