I think the las vegas version is the best one....7 years of tweaking & new band members kind of took away the straight up hard rock song.

almost 8 years later then the vegas show 01-01-01... and guns N Roses stayed true to their ideas and choose CD as first single like they did back then or in 02... It was meant to be released in 01-02 I believe and a video was shot...

I also heard a video was shot for Catcher in 02-03 but never got released.. wonder what that looked like.. would be cool to see that video somehow:P   anyone has a phone number of Axl so I can ask him nicely?

hard to say. for me the Vegas show is pure magic, like a dream. but I think the progress was generally a good thing.

well I think they were rumored to record a video in china - but that was in 2002, around the Asian tour, and nobody knew about Catcher by that time

yep. the same about Nightrain, it's fucking epic to hear all the solos, each and every one of them is just improvisation. this learned me to love Bucket!
