They have to buy it unless it is not renewed.   But lets face it, the guys on here are going to get a huge payoff for the name (relatively speaking).  The forum should take the name of the next album as its domain.

i hope it won't go offline, the one thing that i think is really probable is that it will become gn'r official forum. hence the new look, the new banners and all that, the countdown shit which can only be found at gnr.com, and since its a flash it's hard to get to it without the source files (if my computer knowledge judges right).

There are better things to negociate than cash.

Administrators could run an official message board, have exclusive news, content, interviews, etc, and work together with management / band.

Just an idea, I don't know shit about the situation, but that's what I would try to negociate.
