i install kitchen appliances for a small family firm. and whilst the big boys like currys, comet, etc are struggling. we are busy as hell.  people have wised up.

I will never shop at Wal-Mart again (unless of course GNR does what AC/DC did with an exclusive release)

well whereas comet, currys, etc will deliver the goods. they leave it on your doorstep and leave. we take it in, uninstall and take the old one away then bring the new one in, install it, check its working, and walk the customer through the appliance. the company i work for has been around since 1964 too so its got a good amount of loyal customers. the original owner, Dennis (now 73) is still working there 2 days a week and still helps lifting and installing appliances, now his son runs the business and it has just gone from strength to strength since he has. even through these rough times, business is booming. its amazing. we're all shocked and it keeps me in a job so thats awesome.

that's what it takes...good service to beat out the big Corps...bummed out that Circuit City died....the economy is so shit, i hope you guys keep it going, we don't need any more unempployment
