got told by a friend at school that a chinese democracy ad was on tv yesterday here in Belgium, to bad i missed it.

Hi everyone.

Here in Argentina not so much, a little on rock and pop radio, it was going to be realese on 25th, then on 26th and today (25th) i went to buy an audio system and C.D was there.

Zavvi, Uk was fucking awful i had to actually look for the album in the metal section before spotting it behind UYI.
This was on the release date! I was expecting some kind of display once i walked in through the door!

Whoa!! I was just sitting here reading this forum, with the tv in the background.  All of a sudden i hear the riff from chinese democracy, i turn around, and see that awesome commercial from the myspace page on tv!!  :rockon: Anyone else seen this on tv yet?

Hopfully this thread is ok, I did't want to open a new one for this.

I wanted to buy a new earphones for my iPod today - I wanted to hear ChiDem in better quality   :D

While I was at SATURN (Germany biggest store) I thought "OK, when you're here already take a look in the 4th floor with all the media stuff". When I went in, I almost passed out, because of the sound that was comming out of the speakers on full blast. They played "Better".  :D

It was really strange experience. At this moment I realised that this is real. The word have GNR again   :D
I think the days after the release of ChiDem were a little foggy to me. Maybe I thought it's only a dream and I would wake up someday.

I left SATURN with a big grin on my face  :D

In my country Slovenia...there is nada promotion for album  :'(...radio refused to play it...tv music show talks only about Britney, The Killers and other suckers...In stores (thanks god)u can easly find the cd....lots of my friends bought it after we saw on internet or saw movie Body of Lies...and some magazine had little article about new album...and thats it...fuck them

TV ads and press ads in Poland. Not that much, but still, something happens.

Press coverage was rather dismissive (sometimes spiteful), but quite large.
