In Finsbury Park, North London there's a huge billboard with a large poster and lots of small ones, ironically it is right outside my work place - must be a sign!  It appeared Tuesday this week, the picture is taken from the window from our building.

I assumed others would have seen these around so didn't bother to post, i can't imagine they would just put them up in Finsbury Park of all places!

Since Axl is not promoting his own CD....there is only hype! Axl needs to promote this...it is what will sell the CD. Where is Axl?

i have hardly heard cd on norwegian radio at all . Seems like all the attention guns is getting in norway is bad publicity and shitty reviews .

There is no promotion here in Czech Republic yet. I hope it will come. I've contacted some guys from biggest rock magazine here and he told me there is gonna be interview with Del James and big article about GNR in november.

Not much in the USA, occasional radio play of CD (at least in the north eastern United States)

Fairly minimally here at the moment in the UK aside from the full page ads in some publications.  CD is getting infrequent airplay afaics but that is at least in part because the majority of radio stations here are pretty pathetic and middle of the road.

I don't want to be negative, but it seems there is neraly no promotion now (worldwide). Hope it will start with november..articles in magazines etc...

Actually they started playing it on the radio the day after they did in USA (at least radio rock and radio helsinki). I don't no if they do anymore. but no promotion yet. I believe eventually there will be TV commercials like metallica and acdc had.

Definetely the promotion is going fast in the USA and Canada. Little to none promotion in Europe... even though the album is coming one or two days before any USA/Canada release date, if I'm not wrong...

That's not a good situation.  I want more promotion, I'd like radios to talk about "Chinese Democracy" after they played the song here in Italy.

Well funnily enough, although I havent seen any promotion in Australia...I was wearing my GN'R shirt (doing my own promotion lol) in a library, and the old librarian (definitely not a gnr fan) said, "Oh, they have a new album coming out soon, don't they?" So obviously word is still getting around ahah
