I'm proud the world is waking up to a new positive outlook to the United States.  I already see it here in Greece. Everybody has united in Greece for Obama.... they talk about him in the streets here. The old men, the young people really have hope and that America wouldn't make the same mistakes again and I'm actually proud and its been a-fucking-while.

We don't look like total douche bags anymore. America has spoken with a land slide victory. You need to update the numbers in the first post.

Agreed, there seems to be something special about him. No disrespect to McCain as he is a hero but he just doesnt have the Obama's appeal.

I just hope he can live up to the hype now.

A touching moment for me was seeing Jessie Jackson crying in the crowd. A truely historic day  .

So I just opened my store in Athens, and everybody is real happy about it.  Some don't speak a word of english but they know "Obama" and I know enuff Greek to hear they how happy they are about it and they liked his acceptance speech. Its very emotional even that I am all the way here so far from the states with people following this. I have such an extended outlook being American and witnessing first hand at the positive effects here from Europe and a new positive relation to the country for the good. It does all matter.
