i read about that on the BBC awhile back. great story! Personally im not a fan, but since Sex on Fire i catn stand them. I think the song is shite and annoying, bit i seem to be in the minority.

You have to get Kings of Leon for what they are to appreciate them.

I mean we are all hard-rock fans (considering we are on a GNR board), so of course theyre not as technically gifted or as epic sounding.


You have to be in a mellow, laid back, very chilled mood and just lay back and appreciate the vibe.


The new album is great for that


Their last album was really good, except all the mainstream latched on to the word 'sex' and went crazy, so the overplay killed their last album, through no fault of their own.

Bit like Green Day's American Idiot, another great album that gotoverplayed.

I couldnt go and see these guys live though, man do they look boring.

The new album is very good, for what else is being released at the moment....real people, playing and recording (usually one take) songs that they the band love to play. Either you like the songs and you buy their stuff or you don't like their songs and you pass on there stuff, but to slag them is just ridicules. They have a very gifted singer, who relates to allot of people in the world, backed up by a great band!...almost sense a mellow gnr vibe (Izzy and slash era) in some songs they record.
