The most aggrivating comment in the review was, 'no one on this planet is making music like this, at the moment.'

That's a simply not true and an ignorant/MTV-stance.  The reality is, record labels aren't taking chances or even bothering to look.

We've gone out of our way to make music that is artistic, passionate, inspired and creative - and it's gotten us 'regional' status and forced us to release music indendently, which is fine because the offers just are not there.

Axl is lookin' out for his own dignity/vision and the little guy, which is to be respected.

I'm glad this record is coming out, but if the record company doesn't pay attention to the neglected 'artist,' the industry will collapse just like the overly-bloated housing industry, which has caused a systematic breakdown in the economy, as a whole.

Aside from the one statement, I like the review.  But, 'reviewer,' get in touch with your local scene - dig around.  There is a lot of phenomenal music being created by artists you'll never know!
