I think that Paul Buckmaster and Marco Beltrami did a really great job on this song, the orchestra really adds to the feel.
I've grown to like the added lyrics at the end, they seem to add to the crescendo feel at the songs end. The new guitars really work for me too, I also love the vocal doubling on 'Has cost more than it should for me' it sounds awesome.
All in all, a great improvement on an already great track and one of the album highlights for me.

Absolutely love this version.

I broke up with my girlfriend and listened to The Blues....sorry...Street of Dreams loads and it's now got a really special place in my heart.  We got back together but the impact of this song has never lessened.  Absolutely fantastic.  A beautiful song with Axl on top form.

CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVE THE ALBUM IN MY HANDS!!!

I edited it, correct lyrics w/o the typos from the booklet.  :smirk:

P.S. Bumble's little rhythm parts are an awesome addition to the song. Great stuff!

at the 3:56 mark in S.O.D ,
Buckets guitar is turned down to low ,
and it was higher in the mix in the demo and use to be my favourite part of this song,

The blues and catcher in demo form are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better then the mastered released versions any day of the fucking week.

If you are reffering to the guitar bits on the demo we got without the guitar intro to the one with the guitar intro on the actual CD, the guitar layer that is at 3:56 is exactly the same on both parts...duno what you are listening to it on, but put headphones in, they are both exactly the same :)

Nah the guitars towards the end of the song are louder on the demos.

This song is a classic. Cannot wait for it to be released as a single. If it gets released next Christmas people will say "Wow what a killer new GNR song. Axl should put this on an album because I would buy this music."
