now is that pre-stuffed as in some sort of ravioli packaging? or do you manouvre (sp?) your sauce into the shells? i would exclude ravioli - they're like steriods in sport. fun, but its still cheating.

I've been eating the bows for about a year now...however to my absolute horror, the shop didnt have any last week. After slamming my foot through the shelf, I decided to get some penne. Was OK, but on reflection I feel I should have went for twists.

Spaghetti is the king of pasta though...screw da hatas!!111

I have issues with the bows.  They're too thick in the middle where the bow narrows to a knot.  It means that your pasta tends to be a little too al dente in the middle or a little too soft at the edges. 

I've actually just rediscovered the joys of macaroni, unfortunately most people I know seem completely oblivious to the fact that it can be used outwith the making of macaroni cheese.  Penne and Fusili are always a good back up but  Those tiny little conchiglies are a pain in the ass.

shells damn it. (although i guess if i go down that line i should call penne feathers...but i won't) if filthy pasta snob.

And i stand by my spaghetti comments. horribly overrated stuff.

and those stuffed shells are cheating. pre-packed. the test here is to find what is the best pasta for collecting the saucy goodness, having them pre-packed defeats the purpose. (they're still tasty tho...)

Gotta be the classic straight pasta.

It tastes like pasta - the other weird shapes taste weird. Same as how triangle sandwiches taste better than square ones.
