you know that hes not trying to sound like slash note for note!! He plays slash's solos with his own touch to it!!
Some are better then others!  but they don't want to sound like a cover band...   its unfortunate that Axl took all the fun out of enjoying the cd for Robin, he has to be proud of his work, but on the other hand drained from it as well....

I'm not saying he should play like Slash but c'mon?Have you seen him play the 2nd November Rain solo?Go on youtube and look for it from either Rock AM Ring of RIR 2006.He sucks BAD on it.There's a fine difference between sucking and putting your own touch on it.Listen to Fortus and Ron in that same video.They're not playing note for note but it still sounds alot like Slash's solo
