Read the liner notes guys, it's all in there!

Not when there a 3 guitarists listed for each song.
Give it time, read between the lines

Thanks...that is why I posted this...it's hard to tell who is doing what although I think I have a general feel for their styles individually it would be nice to know for sure.

Same, but other than seeing GnR live last year, I wouldn't have a clue who's playing what.

I'd love there to be some kind of breakdown of songs, like:

TWAT solo 2:13 Robin.  Solo 4:20 Buckethead.  etc....

There are some super solos but I really can't be doing with the Bumblefoot ones. You get solos with a real sense of build and development like Finck's This I Love solo, Buckethead's entrancing ones like the one which leads towards the end of There Was a Time, whereas Bumblefoot's fail to get any emotion going at all in me.

Music, technically; it's all Greek to me. Anywho, one thing CD did was turning me on to Buckethead. I really dig his sound and persona and so I've turned to youtube to find out more about his music. It seems to me that his trademark is the use of the "killswitch" to produce a staccato sound. I like to think that the 'staccato bursts' you can briefly hear in parts of the solos are produced by Buckethead's killswitch.

The solos on TWAT are the most outstanding in Chinese Democracy.

The only one I would have ever had to question would be 'Sorry" and it's not who I expected.

The real reason axl didn't use mays solos was because he wanted his band to shine and not be over shadowed by may

Yes I also got into him because of C.D. His playing sensibility is the best I've heard in a long time. And I agree his soloing on "There Was A Time" is outstanding... in fact his work on that track reminds me somewhat of David Gilmour's playing style, particularly on a song like "Comfortably Numb".

Buckethead really adds to C.D. I don't think it would be the same without him.

Buckethead reminds me of Picasso..
He can do all this crazy (abstract) shit.. but when
it comes to like real stuff, he is very amazing
too.

I think Buckethead wrote the Shackler's Revenge one but BF played it.

no Bumble only plays solo, rythm part and shredding outro, all the rest guitar is Buckethead
Axl Rose is Guns N' Roses, for more informatio0n buy "Contraband" or "Libertad"
