Best and worst reworked leaks

Out of the leaks that we've all listened to forever what changes do you like to the final versions and what don't you like?

My thoughts:

I must say TWAT remains outstanding...I liked the old one and the new one as well.

IRS is a huge improvement with the added guitar bits...this song should get huge radio play on rock stations

I liked the old raw Maddy better than the polished up version.  The one early leak is an incredible tune but the one that made it to CD is simply OK

I like pretty much all the songs more now. Although Cathcer in the rye was pretty even.

mostly improved but i like the old catcher better and the buckethead solo on the riad demo

Mostly improved would be Catcher
I don't think there is a song that got worse, some of it took some getting used to but I don't think any of them got worse

I like the final mix of If The World the most. Catcher is great as well.

Don't think any of the leaks got worse but TWAT, IRS and If The World were greatly improved.

"If the World", "I.R.S." and "Shackler's Revenge" are the best reworked leaks.

Worst? "Madagascar" for sure...

Catcher is kind of muddled up now with all the solos. The main melody kind of gets lost. Other than that, everything pretty much sounds better to me. On some, the thing hardest to get used to was the new drum beats like on Chinese Democracy.

Catcher in the rye is definately the most improved, IMO
Madagascar sounds to me no different han the version leaked in June, though its still a kickass song

Best -> Chinese Democracy (the final version was WOW)
Worst -> Catcher In The Rye (they removed May's parts and replaced the old vocals...also the ending is shorter... anyway, i love the song)

The tempo/pace of the final verion is much slower. The leak has more momentum or build up toward the chorus if you ask me. I'd say Madagascar is the only one that went backwards in my opinion.

I miss the whining guitar part at the beginning of street of dreams. Not a worse version,  I just liked that.

Also, IRS seems to rock a little harder in the leak. I was thinking they were trying to soften it up to make it more radio friendly.

CD is still good but got the worst. Ron decided it need sleeze rock of GNR old, problem is this isn't the GNR of old and Axl obviously wasn't trying for that considering the rest of the album. So Ron got rid of Tommy's killer bassline for that "cheese 80's" shit which sounds nothing like the old gnr tbh, so I don't know where he was going with it.
