What songs had you not heard before you bought the album?

I'd only heard 30 sec. of Chinese Democracy, full Better, IRS, and Madagascar... It was pretty fresh when i bought the album altho I did listen on their Myspace the 3 days before. It's a sick album! What had you not heard?

only sorry scraped and this i love, still sounded fresh with the changes and not listenin to it once release date was confirmed

Technically I had heard the whole thing before I bought. I listened to the myspace stream twice before the album actually hit the shelves. Before that though I had heard only "Better" because it leaked on the radio over a year ago and "Chinese Democracy" because it was streamed on the official GN'R home page a few weeks before the album dropped.

The final versions... Catcher In The Rye (which is incredibly awesome),Better, The Street of Dreams, Prostitute, Madagascar... Let's just say I didn't hear any C.D songs after the release date was announced.

Heard 'em all. But to be true I don't understand the people claiming to "ruining one's experiece" of the album. To be true it was a great experience to hear the songs develop over the years. Even if I didn't like 'em at first, it was like being part of things, being part of the process, the long road to Chinese Democracy. And that's something unique - at least if you call yourself a GNR-fan.

I did it and I also complained 'bout people listening to the album's legal previous. Still I think it was the right think to do, except for listening to the leaks.  :tongue:

I listened to the myspace stream a numerous amount of times...i managed to not listen to Sorry though.  I dont think i ruined any of the songs by listening to them a few days early. Although Ive started to like TWAT less, bc ive heard it sooo damn much. CITR never gets old  :smoking:
