How do you train your voice and warm it up before shows and recording?
How did you avoid damaging it back in the eighties, when fx you partied and didn't have a place to live? How did you manage to still train it sufficiently in that time?

I'd really like to know, this IS what I'd like answered more than anything else

And how have you avoided losing your range up till now (that place in IRS - "you know it's truuuuue" - where you hold the note for god-knows-how-long is my fav moment on CD :D)

Or, well, anything about how you deal/used to deal with/train your voice would be of great interest, thanks  :D

PS. Thanks you SO much for Catcher, IRS and Shackler, can't live without them. And for all the others also as well :smoking:

Axl, we love you so much and thank you for Chinese Democracy. There is something all fans in Argentina would like to know. Have you been thinking about appearing in some TV programme or radio show soon?

Axl, is it weird having strangers like us telling you that they love you? Even though we don't know you it feels like we do through your music and lyrics.

Do you think you might play new songs (not chidem) on the 09 tour?

Do you enjoy meeting your fans offstage? If I never get to meet you, thanks for all the music.

This is the best Hanukkah present I could get!

Eric
But now the damage's done
And we're back out on the run
Fun how ev'rything was roses
When we held on to the guns
Just because you're winnin'
Don't mean you're the lucky ones

Hi Axl! Wow theres two word i thought I'd never write on a forum! Awesome!! :D

First off I just gotta say thank you for the music!

Do you have any memories from the Birmingham England show on the UK tour in 2006? ME and 2 fellow members of this forum went to all 10 shows of the UK tour but I have the best memories of that gig in particular as first the gig was awesome but then after the gig we were out the backstage area where the trucks were and on your way out to your car you came over and said hi to to us and shook hands and gave us autographs and everything. Definately one of the best nights ever!! The whole 2 and a bit weeks of that tour was simply amazing.

Hey Axl, you rock man. Really cool to communicate with the fans on the boards!

I was wondering if you have any nice memories from your concert in Paris in 2006? All the French-speaking fans are saying hello, please come back to Paris next year!
By the way, Bumblefoot was here in Paris a few days ago, it was great talking to him too.

Thanks for the album, it rocks, especially Sorry!

How does an average GNR rehearsal go? like, do you jam on any covers, go over songs until they are extremely tight? etc. Also, how frequent are Guns N' Roses rehearsals?
Thanks.

Frequency depends on the reason say a tour or particular gig and how we feel about where we're at with whatever the material is and not so much on the covers but lots of jams. Generally there's a lot of fun but a lot of work and these guys take it very seriously which is great.

That wouldn't stop us from playing there again. And the whole throwing shit sucks and is pretty cowardly but the leaving I got at Donnington from Lemmy. When we 1st played Donnington I was so happy I had knocked a bottle of piss out of the air when Lemmy gave me a lecture how if another band got hurt because I allowed people to throw things at our shows I'd be responsible for other bands getting hurt. Whether real or there's an argument against that, I've never been able to have anything override that in my head, not even a riot and I don't know why.

If you're working hard and some cunt throws something so he can tell his buddies I don't see where it's worth it.

Sounds like a good piece of advise Lemmy give you, especially to stick with you all this time. Cheers for responding, all the best.

Imo that was just cheap shots from media jerkoffs knowing that Shaq wasn't the most popular or respected rapper publicly. I've never met the man. He goofed around with Paul and Diz and it went from there.

wow THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR JUST ANSWERING a QUEStion of mine....this is insane...i need to go to be but i wont...hah thanks bro

Thank God a friend of mine texted me and I can live this moment.

Axl, what a great album you gave us. TWAT is your best song ever. Your music inspires us everyday, and made us happy everytime we listen to it. Thank you! This may sound a little gay, but I love you man!!

My questions:

1- What song are you playing in this video? Is that your creation? Whatever it is, I love it.
I mean the piano introduction to November Rain. This is Hartford, CT (1993)

2- Can you tell me the when (what year) you started writing these songs?:

a) Prostitute
b) This I Love
c) Madagascar

Thank you very much Axl. If you ever come to Argentina again, I'll invite you some barbecue, a good Malbec and a very strong hug  :D
