Massive but an epic read. Opened my eyes and probably many others to the amount of lies that Guns fans have been spoon fed over the years.

I'm glad Axl decided to talk straight to the fans instead of going to the press. It would have just been butchered otherwise.

to sum it up... Slash lies, Axl is king.

Axl is amazing!!!! I think what they did in the past is a huge accomplishment and would be nice to look back on some day but boys and girls for now Guns N fuckin Roses has alot of beautiful fuckin music left in their veins!!!!!!

Wow, Axl Rose just clarified his standpoint on the breakup of GNR, for the first time ever. I can't believe this- what a year for GNR.


It does seem that there was alot more trouble coming from Slash than anyone realised.

I need more time to think over it, do my research into what Slash said, and get a fuller understanding. I don't think Axl would lie though, although you can't discount the possibility of some bias, because it's obviously the description of how Axl saw things

Looking back, at this moment Axl's story holds up- apart from Slash who else ever criticised Axl and said that he was solely trying to take control of GNR and their musical direction? I can't recall one member.

All we hear is how Slash says that his demo tapes were 'rejected' by Axl, which Axl clarifies as to saying he just felt that they need more work. And the great thing is, Axl holds the demo tapes from the final recording sessions they ever did. Man, what I'd do to hear that- that would tell the truth.

The style is acceptable and the content thoughtful and concise. However, it was supposed to be a book report about the first three chapters of "Call Of The Wild."

This is the ultimate "fuck you, Slash" thread. Axl did a great deed telling us about this after all these years and for that I must thank him for the great read. I am currently reading Slash's book for the first time and now all this is happening.

For all of the ragging on Axl for not communicating through the years - I believe the man has done more in terms of fan-based-communication in the last few days then any band has done for the fans in the last few years
