I.R.S. and Chinese Democracy I listen to them both alot, but those two I skip more than others.

well, right now, I'm kind of just picking specific tracks here and there to listen to so I'm skipping quite a lot. Since right now, I'm in exam mood, a handful of songs give me the clarity of mind I need in this condition- CITR, This I Love and Prostitute (perfect study tune- calms you down yet motivates you at the same time :nod:)

but in my usual state of mind, I tend to skip to Street Of Dreams. I like the first three tracks but it's SOD where the album really comes alive IMO, so I like to get to that point as quickly as possible

Same here I hate Scrapped. The song just don't fit in the album. Wow I can't believe some of you said Madagascar and This I love both songs are awesome. Well Scrapped is the worst.

Mainly the rockers which Bumblefoot plays on. Not saying it's all his fault, but it's those tracks which seem to be the weakest ones. The ballads hold up well thanks to their orchestration and strong vocal melodies whereas the rockers expose a production which sounds sadly dated by a good decade. The ballads also sound dated to me but they actually manage to benefit from it by sounding like classic tracks from yesteryear.

Some people have described some of the rockers as sounding like Linkin Park. To be perfectly honest, I find this to be an insult to Linkin Park as, to be fair, their production has at least always been up to date. I understand this may ring like sacrilege to many of the followers here. The various sounds used in the rockers are certainly not 'industrial'. They sound far closer to sounding like a 40 year old having a 'best shot' at fitting in with the Nu metal scene circa '98.

That said, out of the rockers, I.R.S. is a particularly visceral track, Better has a certain swagger to it and Chinese Democracy does do it's job in leading off the album.
