I found Catcher a good book but pretty tame really.

So Holden finds the world phoney.  I think it often is, and the credit crunch is caused by a phoney economy getting found out, and people like Madoff making off with all the money would fit neatly into the Catcher story; it just highlights it more than anything.

Salinger must be thinking he was right more than ever...and ol' Axl too!

When Axl said Zodiac,I thought he meant the story of the Zodiac murders.
I don't believe there's a reason

Can't be bother to check, but that seems plausible what with the Zodiac's code reference on the sleeve of The Spaghetti Incident. With that and Axl using Dexter username, I think he's studying to become a serial killer. He's going to start killing old members of GNR. Or maybe GNR fans...

That sequence of symbols at the bottom of TSI's front cover, it's the Zodiac's code for "fuck 'em all", apparently. After all these years, I think someone only stopped to as the question of what it meant a month or two ago, and that was the answer. If we don't buy enough copiues of CD, Axl will kill again.

try reading Atlas Shrugged. It's the best book I have ever read.

Ayn Rand is right there, next to Dostoevsky, Kafka, Salinger and Camus.
