To me, this has a strong Blackie (my song writing hero :o) Lawless vibe to it which is very cool. It seems dark and its very thought provoking. I like it

am keeping it real...  I write off of many emotions & combinations of & I seem to always shoot for the metaphysical thing. I touched death, anger, caring, hope, religion, sex, drugs, double meanings of Wine & blood & religion, love & more within just a few lines.

in no way do I expect everybody to get it or even like it for people may want to think about the sun all day. but you know.......  there are Scooby Doo episodes that have more darkness in them

death, anger, caring, hope, religion, sex, drugs, blood, love.....all these subjects are used a lot by Blackie.
Blackie Lawless is the singer & songwriter in WASP, but dont let that put you off because the guys a genius. Sure, they have a few typical 80s bonehead rock songs, but for the most part, the songwriting is very deep. Especially in their later albums.

Cool BP.  It's hard to judge without melody, but it looks like it cold rock some army tanks.

yea totally........  the song has to play in a powerful moody way to express the story & the music is really my first attemps to grab a metal sound like Alice in Chains related sound but not that sound. This is why I needed & picked up a high gain amp that was ballsy enough to play with drums with a dark edge.... so I went with a marshall.

to add to the story & this dream I had ....  I see a man in a garden    surrounded by temptation. Every time he makes a move, there are vines strapping to his wrists & legs holding him back. He is devided within his choices & when there is a little bit of hope, such as when Mary comes in, he gives himself up to the vineyard & he doesnt know if he should reach out to Mary for help, love, or if he should "bang" her  :P .  All in all, the vineyard could be somewhere suductive or peaceful such as in the end finds a way to "put me under to dance them dreary eyes" during the dream sequence but of course there is a price to pay.

Thats scratching at the surface meaning the writing is up for open interpretation for the reader is taken into consideration.
