I'd say that is the critical question. At what point is it destroying a bunch of cells and at what point is it murdering a human? Obviously there is no single moment it changes, but if the argument hinges on the premise "it is wrong to take a human life" then the minor premise of "what is inside that ladies baby is a human" is essential.

Besides, why is it that we all think that life is soo amazing regardless of the circumstances?? I would rather not have been born than shipped around foster homes where I'd probably end up dead because of a drug overdose because I hate myself because my mother gave me away. Foster homes are like 4/10 times a downward spiral, people don't care for the kids enough to stick with them through the hard times and they just ship them off because they can. Hardly anyone wants a fucked up drug addict teenager, I know that, I've seen it. Chances are the kid will either end up getting someone pregnant or get pregnant or die and the endless circle continues.

A bit harsh, but truth been told, life isn't amazing if you end up in a foster home, end up a drug addict, end up having parents who don't want you. That's not a good life.

My dad was born after WWII, his mom had barely turned 20 and obviously he wasn't planned, he was shipped off to a what ever place at 2 and when his mother came to pick him up he called her "madam". Maybe if she did have an abortion my dad wouldn't have to suffer all those years, maybe his brother wouldn't be a heroin addict and maybe I wouldn't have been born. Not saying I wish I was never born, because I'm glad I was, but if I never was I wouldn't really know what I "missed out on", now would I?

Conclusion... it's each individuals choice and maybe it's better to nip it at the bun then create an other dysfunctional teenager and give it a miserable life.

well unless you are a woman who has gone through an abortion, i don't think either of us know what is going on in a woman's head when she is deciding whether or not to get one.  i have a hard time believing that a woman has 0 dilemma getting scraped because it's like an expensive pedicure, but until a woman posts that has actually had one we'll just have to not know

Are you fucking serious? Nobody said it was OK to kill almost completely developed baby. We are talking about terminating it BEFORE that, in Norway 12 weeks is the upper limit, there is nothing resembling that before 12 weeks, most countries would not allow abortions that late in the pregnancy.
