No, not technically..but many things both politically as well as bureaucratically speaking, are done in the manner a third country would do them, especially, I and I take pains in saying this because I am from the south, in Southern Italy. 

For example, money is often exchanged or favors are often expected in return to expedite building and or other types of permits.  Also, You ALWAYS need to know somebody in order to get a good position. 

So, yeah, that's very reminiscient of a 3rd. world country..don't you agree??

no. thats corruption. that exists everywhere. in a thread dedicated to obama it should be remembered that there was an attempt to sell his seat in the senate. whilst i dont doubt that corruption is rife in the south of italy to say that it resembles a third world nation is absurd and insulting.

the terms first, second and third world refer to, roughly, a nation's economy, industrialization, health, education, infrastructure and general standard of living. on all these counts Italy undoubtedly fulfills the criteria of a first world country.

it was an amazing day im glad i went to the inaguration i was planing to put up pictures but it was so crowded we ened up all the way back to the washington monument.

i also bought this really cool t-shirt($20) from this homess guy, who was making more money that he will ever see in his lifem because everybody wanted to buy the t-shirt. ironically the t-shirts were really good quality not like sears or anyother store.

it was a long walk and we thought we were gona miss the inaguration because we got soo lost. But at least it was cool seing a mass of people and feeling their energy

Yea I've already seen this pic weeks ago and I found that there are a lot of faults like that (erased heads and stuff like that).
